Breathe Love Interview

Tell us about your journey? What brought you to where you are now?

My inward journey started around 12 years ago when I began to practice yoga asana and meditation. At the time I was running a fashion magazine and creative agency. I started to experience an inner transformation that I couldn’t seem to translate into my outer reality. Eventually, I took a hiatus from creative projects to focus on soul work and healing. During that time I studied yoga, meditation, breathwork and reiki which I now practice and teach. Recently I’ve been able to merge my soul work with my love for art, design and creativity through a community platform called We Are Formless. 

What has been your biggest inspiration with the work that you do and share?

I am forever inspired by my dearest friend and teacher Katie Abbott. Through journeying with Katie I experienced the miracle of unconditional love, and the impact it has when shared with others through whichever modality I choose to practice. 

What sparks joy in your life that truly lights you up? (This could be big or small).

Being in nature, looking up at the moon or watching the sunrise always lights me up!

What are your favourite soul or self-care practices right now that you can share with us?

Beginning the day by spending time with myself in meditation, followed by some movement to warm me up. Somedays this is a yoga flowand others I just dance like wild. I love a salt bath in the evening and listening to a soothing playlist before bed. If I ever feel overwhelmed during the day I practice alternate nostril breathing to calm and rebalance my energy.
